VULKANO FLOW!

The Vulkano Flow enables users to watch their home cable or satellite service over the Internet from anywhere on almost any computer or mobile platform. It also allows users to record content directly to a computer. It supports PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and BlackBerry platforms. The Flow also offers a Wi-Fi connection to a home router, unlike any placeshifting device we've seen before.

The Vulkano Flow provides no Web site access functionality unlike Sling. The Electronic Programming Guide isn't always reliable and we had the beta Mac version of the system's player crash on us a few times. We also wish it had HDMI ports and an editable port assignment for out-of-network access. The mobile apps cost extra, but nowhere near what Slingbox charges.

J-inventors develop remote kissing device!

Here’s how it works: A plastic tube projects out of a device that is connected to a motor, which is then connected to the computer. The person in turn moves the tube with his tongue, which moves the straw on the other end, and vice versa. The researchers claim that this should accurately portray the feeling of a french kiss.

Surviving Japan : A Documentary From a Volunteer in the Japan Tsunami Relief!

A foreign Volunteer living in Japan shows you the truth about the aid and relief situation and fight against Nuclear power in Japan.

"I am an American living in Japan who was in the March 11th events. In short I feel that this event is a great opportunity to wake up many people in the world who are asleep and to inspire peace and change in our world. Thus I am making a documentary using this event as there is a small window of opportunity to do so."

Suiting up for Japan's sterile sushi factories: Vanguard!

Vanguard correspondent Adam Yamaguchi visits a tuna processing facility in Japan, where he quickly learns how serious and stringent the health and safety regulations are. Under the watchful eye of facility staff, he must suit up and sterilize himself before he's allowed to get near the fish.

Japanese Soccer Fans Taunt Iranian-American Coach!

Fans clashed at a J-League soccer match after somebody unveiled a banner meant to insult an Iranian-born head coach. The incident took place during Saturday’s match between Shimizu S-Pulse & Júbilo Iwata. Supporters of Iwata made a banner that said “To Ghotbi: Stop Making Nuclear Weapons!” It was meant to mock Shimizu head coach Afshin Ghotbi, an Iranian-American who coached the Iran national team from 2009 to 2011.

Amazing Japanese Dominos!

PythagoraSwitch (ピタゴラスイッチ, Pitagora Suitchi?) is a 15 minute Japanese educational television program. It encourages augmenting children's "way of thinking" under the supervision of Masahiko Satō (佐藤雅彦?) and Masumi Uchino (内野真澄?). During the beginning, ending, and between each corner (segment), there are Pythagorean Devices (ピタゴラ装置, Pitagora Sōchi?). Pythagorean Devices are known in the US as "Rube Goldberg machines", or in Great Britain as "Heath Robinson" contraptions.

Tell me you are not fascinated by these contraptions:
